Soil compositions, and the micronutrients present in soil, are the primary factors for a successful and sustainable agricultural model.

Fertility of soil is the decisive dynamic for the agricultural industry. Soil fertility varies throughout the growing phase each year. Additions of fertilizers, manures, lime, sulphur and leaching of the soil due to irrigation have a direct influence on the available quantity of micronutrients in the soil. Additionally, the plant growth phase and the harvesting phase further deplete the soil of nutrients. Hence, reliable facilities to test the fertility levels of soil are important pillars in the infrastructure of the agricultural industry.
