Mobile Water Testing Laboratory is an effective surveillance of drinking water quality in rural areas. The lab is capable of measuring diffirent water quality parameters like  pH, Alkalinity, TDS, Hardness, Residual Chlorine, Ammonia, Nitrite, Fluoride, Turbidity etc. of water samples. Mobile Lab helps in quickly identifying the water quality problem on the spot at site. The lab is used to counter check the quality of water from different water supply schemes which are being checked regularly by the departmental officer. ELICO has supplied 5 Automated Mobile Water Testing Laboratories to Chennai Metro Water.
